James Marsen has been cast in the upcoming film “Game of the Thrones,” with actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau playing his character, Lord Baelish.
Marsen, who plays the dwarf warrior Stannis Baratheon, is a fan of the HBO series, and his character has a history of making friends with the Iron Throne.
He plays the character on “Game Of The Thrones,” which stars Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, NikolajCoster-Windau, Liam Cunningham, Maisie Williams, and Emilia Garner.
Marsden is repped by CAA.
Dinklamp, who previously appeared in the TV series “Grimm,” said in a statement to Variety, “We are thrilled to have James Marsens casting as Lord Beadle.
He has a great sense of humor and a unique understanding of the role.”
Marsen was most recently seen on the HBO “Westworld,” which premieres this week.
He will also appear in the film “The Blacklist” which will begin shooting in June.
Heade, who has appeared in other HBO series like “Silicon Valley,” “Game” and “Nashville,” will play Baelis younger sister, Mance Rayder.
She is repping by WME.
Coster Waldau, who will play the titular commander of the Iron Fleet, is reppin the role.
“Game,” which is based on George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy series, is set in Westeros, which is ruled by the Targaryens, the family of House Baratheons.
