A man has died after falling off a cliff in the Gold Coast, police say.

He was taken to a hospital and died there overnight.
The group were all on the bridge to witness a friend’s jump, but when they arrived on the other side, the man’s head hit the bridge.
“The deceased was taken from the site in critical condition, in a coma,” police said.
“He was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he later died.”‘
There was a massive impact’Police said the man was a member of a group who had gathered on the west side of the Golds.
“We have received numerous calls of a man with a gunshot wound on the south side of Mt Isa, near a small group of people on a small bridge, on the morning of February 19,” police told reporters.
“Police received multiple reports of a large group of men in the vicinity, and they are all being investigated by the police.”
“A large group has been gathering on Mt Isa,” Detective Superintendent Chris Jones said.’
He didn’t say no’The group on the east side of Mount Isa were in a group which was heading west when the incident occurred.
“There was no reason for them to leave the area when they were all aware of the risk to their lives,” Detective Sergeant Dave O’Neill said.
Police said there were no witnesses or other witnesses of the man falling off the west face of Mt James.
